Yes thats true but all in all. If your going for a photo camera a 7D is the better camera. but for video. ill stick with my 60D. and if your going to be using it for photos anyways id recommend getting something like a 1D MKii or iV

the only reason that you should have to upgrade from a 60 to a 7 is for faster frame rate. other than that there is no difference between cameras.
